CAPRICORN COLLEGE FOR TVET RESPOND TO MEMORANDUM SUBMITTED BY THE STUDENTS
Capricorn College for Tvet management has responded to the students' complaints earlier today, 12 March 2024 that NSFAS paid both 2022 and 2023 outstanding tuition and allowances. Only students are the ones who failed to provide the proof home address and those who summited fraudulent documents.
This comes after a group of Capricorn college students protested to the Central Office in Polokwane against the College management over the issue of many students were paid R2400 instead of R3400 NSFAS allowances and outstanding balances for year 2022 and 2023.
According to the Capricorn College management NSFAS and the institution must enforce the rental/lease agreement on favorable terms for the student and claim accommodation allowances according to the lease agreement amount not exceeding the accommodation cap for metro and other areas.
