Bafana Bafana squad was probably the least supported in the history of the team

For the past two years, Bafana Bafana has been showing steady progress because of this coach and his group of players. 
However, this change happened at a time when the entire country had already given up on the national team because of what had incessantly happened in the past.

In the past two decades, we invested so much support in losers. 

This particular group that goes out of their way to do well ends up playing in front of Botha, Mama Joy, and only a handful of other South Africans - all because of those who came before them. 

For a team that played with minimal support, they served their country with the utmost dedication.
People failed to win games with thousands of vuvuzelas cheering for them right here at home. 

These ones got on a plane to a French speaking country, played in front of crowds that were against them, and still earned their ticket.
